About FNC Academy

OUR HISTORY

From the Start

In 2012, FNC Academy began when the Gilliland family answered God’s call to move from Illinois to Uganda. What started as Friday Night Church in Kamwokya slum transformed when 13-year-old Christine handed Teacher Wendy a simple letter that sparked the vision for our school. Opening in March 2014 with just 23 students, we now serve over 300 children across our Kamwokya and Busiika campuses, continuing our mission to bring hope to the hopeless through Christ-centered education.
